Al Ameri describes his visit to Kashmir as a journey of mindfulness, cultural immersion and calm, sharing reflections that have earned millions of views and sparked engagement worldwide.
The 42-year-old Emirati content creator, a Stanford graduate with over 18 million followers, spent several days exploring the Valley, documenting experiences that went beyond sightseeing and reshaped his understanding of travel.
In a video shared on social media, Al Ameri is seen wearing a traditional Kashmiri pheran while riding a shikara on Dal Lake, calling it “a quiet tribute to local life rather than just a tourist spectacle.”
He also shared footage of a snow bath in Gulmarg, saying such quiet moments helped him reflect on pace, clarity and intention, rather than just capturing pictures.
“There is a calm in Kashmir that goes beyond its landscapes. It is in the stillness, the unhurried pace and the space it creates to think clearly,” he wrote—(KNO)
